Waste is a global problem. The economy is responsible for 100 billion tons of waste annually with industrial waste alone accounting for more than 90% of this total by volume. Most of this waste is landfilled, burned, or mismanaged, leading to the disposal of valuable materials, biodiversity loss, and nearly 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Over this time we recognized tremendous value of post-industrial waste sent to landfill every year, resulting in millions of dollars lost globally. Two major bottlenecks to closing the loop on these materials are local time and expertise at the production facility.
